Vest is quite an interesting piece of clothing - one vest could have some more “looks” depending on the basis that you wear under it.
There used to be a time when I considered summer vests to be even a redundant space-eater in the wardrobe, but since some years ago it is no longer like that. Many times saved the otherwise boring outfit and you don’t even need to worry about the combinations…
I like the longer knitted vests with fringes, having a couple of those in my garderob. Really positive feature is that vests are wearable for some more seasons like e.g. this Mango one, being with us for 2 years already. 
Naturally, your kids grow and their legs/arms get longer – thus a vest could be an ideal piece to cope with it – naturally when speaking about the summer vests, which could be a bit shorter as well…

Vesty ako také sú veľmi zaujímavý kúsok.
Jedna vesta môže mať hneď niekoľko podôb v závislosti od základu, ktorý pod ňu zvolíte. Voľakedy pre mňa boli "letné" vesty ako zbytočné zaberanie miesta v skrini ale pár rokov tomu už tak nie je. Veľakrát zachránia inak nudný outfit a ani sa veľmi nemusíte trápiť s kombináciami. Mne osobne sa páčia pletené dlhšie vesty so strapcami, ktoré mám ale vo svojom šatníku.
Veľmi pozitívnym faktom na vestách je, že ich vynosíte aj niekoľko sezón. Napríklad my máme túto Mango vestu už dva roky. Minulý rok som ju ani nevytiahla zo skrine, nebola nejako príležitosť a tak je vlastne ako nová. Väčšinou deťom narastú ruky nohy tým pádom vesta spĺňa všetky predpoklady kúsku na dlhé nosenie. Bavíme sa samozrejme o vestách letných kde nevadí keď sú aj kratšie.
